Revere provided a number of systems for the Jim Walters No. 5 coal mine. One such system was a state-of-the-art hoist motor brake console. The combination of PLC, remote I/O, and operator interface yields efficient braking performance. Revere also provided two medium voltage switchgear systems, various field equipment, and two vendor-supplied, 600 hp dc motor starters.
