1. Compliance and Safety
Safety First – Always
A Revere key objective communicated from our management team to all employees is to deliver results safely, on time and on budget. The first tactic in this strategic objective is to have zero incidents.
When it comes to safety at our site or yours, we believe accidents are preventable and work diligently to educate our team members, so they are well equipped to safely provide the services you need. Revere’s VP of Safety, Quality and Compliance is tasked with instilling a culture of safety within our organization. We track our training and performance, and work with key independent review and verification companies to confirm compliance with government regulations and customer specific requirements.
Depending on our team member’s occupation, they will be trained on Electrical Safety, UL508A, UL698, OSHA-10, MSHA (Part 46 and Part 48), NFPA 70E Arc Flash, Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED, and Customer Specific Training. In the field, our Project Managers / Site Managers have the responsibility to evaluate and mitigate safety risks. They implement a Safety Action Plan which includes:
- Job Safety Analysis Check sheet (JSAC)
- Safe work checklist
- Safety Training
- Weekly Safety Meetings
- Safety Inspections
- Safety Pre-Qualifications
2. Stability, Capacity, and Size
Stable Company = Successful Project
The most important criteria to evaluate in your selection process is stability. After all, the most technically brilliant firm is only able to help you if they’re stable enough to take on your project. Our stability is anchored by four pillars:
- Financial Health
- Commercial Qualifications
- Capacity
- Proven Track Record
Financial Health

We have an A+ BBB rating and our D&B Hoovers™ profile (03-826-9577) reflects our credit worthiness. Revere has delivered individual projects up to $7M in size while sustaining ongoing business.
Commercial Qualifications
Revere can provide performance or supply bonding with a capacity of $20M, and the ability to supply additional capacity if required. We carry the following insurance coverage:

We also have a dedicated testing area with the resources to test power up to 575V, 3-phase.
In addition to our Birmingham, AL site, we have satellite offices in Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and two in Texas, and remote employees throughout the Southeast. With over 200 employees, we can take on multiple large integration projects at the same time.
Proven Track Record
Revere has a long list of successful projects and has long held a position in the Control Engineering System Integrator Giants list. You can find us at #16 for 2019. Additionally, Revere was chosen as the Alabama Mid-size Manufacturer of the Year for 2016. 3. Deep Subject-Matter Expertise
Since 1980, Revere has been widely lauded as a company of subject matter experts in electrical control system integration. This has been proven through numerous Control System Integrators Association (CSIA) audits, advanced level certifications held, and the company’s strong emphasis on quality production.
In 2016, Revere was named as Alabama’s Medium Manufacturer of the Year by the Business Council of Alabama and the Alabama Technology Network. Demonstrated growth, financial performance, and a commitment to quality were a few of the key performance indicators on which this award was based.
Revere boasts extensive experience in numerous industries which only goes to improve performance in Revere’s emphasis on project management. Revere works to bring that same level of quality and expertise from the cleanliness of the panel shop all the way up to the management of multi-million-dollar project executions.
4. Design-Build Capabilities
With Revere’s Construction design-build, we are the single point of accountability for electrical and automation work. Revere’s team has been delivering successful design-build solutions for over 30 years. We have developed tools and methods like FEED+, RevGen and Status Tracker that optimize schedule, cost, and ultimately your outcome.
In other project delivery methods, there will be separate contracts for the electrical design and equipment, automation design and equipment, system integration and the construction services. When Revere operates as the electrical and automation EPC, we bring together the roles of engineer, integrator, and constructor under one common enterprise. This produces a unified flow of work from initial concept through startup and commissioning. By streamlining through a single contract, we develop a collaborative relationship between the owner and Revere. In this environment, the focus is placed on optimizing project schedules, costs, and quality. The sole source responsibility also eliminates potential finger pointing and disputes over accountability.
5. High-Volume Control Fabrication Capability
Building Project Success
We understand the impact quality has on your project. Any production flaws typically show up during installation and startup, when it’s most expensive and time-consuming to fix. That’s why we take no shortcuts in producing the panels for our systems. Many small and low-cost panel shops simply can’t provide the extra attention to quality that we do.
We build panels to meet UL 508A and 698A standards, as well as CSA. This allows us to provide explosion-proof, purged/pressurized, and nonincendive control panels for a variety of hazardous locations.
We’re also experts at designing, outfitting, and commissioning E-Houses. From mining in Kazakhstan to textiles in South Carolina, utility management in New York City to tunnel boring in Miami, our e-house designs fit a wide range of projects in many industries. E-house demand is growing. If you’ve got a problem that an e-house might solve, Revere is ready to make it happen.
Let us put our design and fabrication experts to work for you.
Our Capabilities Include
- Consistently precise panel production on our CNC machine
- E-house design and on-site fabrication
- Custom Remote Instrument Enclosures (RIEs)
- MCC modifications
- Drive and system panel bus work
- High shop capacity (>3000 panels per year)
- Power testing up to 575 V, 3-phase
- Dedicated testing facility availability to customers for simulation testing
- Over 27,000 feet of production and testing space to handle very large projects
6. FEED+
Enabling Success from the Start
In the business, we have all seen projects that went over on budget, over on schedule and under on outcome. Decades of experience has helped us learn that all of this can be avoided when a client does their homework up front. So many electrical control and instrumentation projects involve modernizing systems in operating plants. Revere’s FEED+ process removes the risk to operations and provides insights that help get projects approved and executed on time and on budget.
Revere’s FEED+ is a more thorough adaptation of the Traditional “FEED”. We developed it by necessity to reduce risk. The FEED+ is a collaboration to create project clarity that is refined with client input. We focus on design & constructability.
The FEED+ process produces an accurate Scope of Work, +/- 10% estimate, and documentation to support the client’s approval and procurement needs. Think of the FEED+ as being about 20% of the total required engineering investment.
7. Global Reach

The Automation Alliance Group (AAG) is a consortium of leading control systems integrators from around the globe, helping customers drive quality, consistency, and productivity. Revere is proud to be a founding member of the AAG. Regardless of that mode of operation, Revere has worked to standardize through LEAN manufacturing and Six-Sigma methods to execute as quickly and efficiently as possible. Revere finds the balance in quality that is both highly customized and timely to meet tough schedules. The level of responsiveness from business development, engineering, and project managers is what makes this uncommon approach to doing business possible and why Revere has seen consistent growth since the beginning.
